What Does Your Car Color Say About Your Personality?

The last time you purchased a vehicle, how much time did you put into evaluating its color? Chances are, a lot.

For many people, color is often one of the most important features on a car. And even though the color may not be nearly as important as what’s under the hood or how well the vehicle performs on the road, it’s still something that deserves a fair amount of consideration during the purchasing process.

What you may not realize about the color of your car, however, is that it can also say a lot about your personality.

For example…

Blue Says…

Car-ColorsBlue is often the most practical color that you can get for a vehicle. It’s easy to conceal if it’s dirty, and it’s a modest color that doesn’t call for a lot of flash. Blue is often a very popular color for moms driving minivans, or for college students who don’t have the time to keep their rides clean.

White Says…

You are looking to present yourself in a fresh and clean way. After all, it takes a lot to keep a white car looking in tip-top shape. But if you are someone that is willing to put in the effort, then it’ll speak volumes about how you present yourself.

Black Says…

While one side of the spectrum says fresh and clean, the other end says luxury and class. Back has long been considered that color of significance, which is why many town cars and limousines are the color. As for you, a black car might also mean power and control as well.

Green Says…

No matter how much you love the environment, you might still need to drive if you want to enjoy some of life’s most enjoyable experiences. That being said, you can still get a green painted car to show everyone how earthy you really are. And since there are fewer and fewer green cars on the road, your passion for preserving nature will be seen everywhere you go.

Red Says…

It’s hard to miss what red is saying, especially when it’s zooming past you on the road. Red cars typically symbolize a sporty personality, which just so happens to also look great on sports cars as well. If you aren’t looking for a lot of attention to be thrown your way, then a red car might not be for you.

Other Colors Say…

Maybe you have something else in mind that doesn’t fit into the typical color wheel. If that’s the case, then your personality may be screaming something else altogether. But whether it’s blue, black, green, gold, or anything in-between, it’s important that you value the color of your car and what it says about your personality. So the next time you head out to the showroom to pick up your new vehicle, think twice about the color you get and what it might say about who you are.
